This is a new concept that is being marketed by Peaceful Pathways, Inc. It has been developed because of the numerous requests for assistance with conflicts that can’t be addressed in more tradition dispute resolution settings.

Conflict Consultation is personalized support and assistance for identified conflicts. Individuals or groups, anticipating litigation (court) at some point, often look for a means to clarify their interests and be “better prepared” for court. For most people, participation in a litigated court proceeding is confusing, frightening and mysterious. Conflict Consultation takes the mystery out of the process. It helps parties feel more confident about their position and prepares them to present the issues in the best possible manner to the other party, to their counsel and/or to the court. In other words, this is the opportunity for one on one support and assistance in preparation for negotiation. Working with individuals and their legal representatives, Peaceful Pathways, Inc. helps participants become more familiar with the court process, prioritize their objectives, establish acceptable alternatives, research and prepare information that supports their position on the issues and to discuss/reality test their goals and objectives.
